Before I tell you how I had so much success with this diet, I also have to tell you that I’ve failed (miserably sometimes) on almost every well known diet out there. So, there’s nothing particularly special about me or my will power. But, I do think there were a few things that helped me and others who I dialog with stick to this diet and ultimately succeed. Understand That The Doctors Who Developed Medifast Knew What They Were Doing: I’ve seen many people (myself included) try to over think this process. It’s common to think that there is some “catch” or some vulnerable place where you are going to do something wrong. The truth is, this diet has been repeatedly studied and proven to work. It was developed by physicians and it works because, (although it doesn’t taste like it), it is high in protein and puts your body in ketosis so that it burns it’s own fat.
